Really nice composition, I love the colors you used and the simplicity. It looks
perfect as it is. I especially like the amulet she's holding and the blue glow.
Makes for a perfect desktop! Thank you for making it!
See, that's why I like simple wallpapers. They're just so appealing!
I love the patterns you used, they fit very well with the scan and color scheme;
everything looks calm.
(and yeah, I'm jealous too because you got to submit first )
The color scheme is pure love (it's been said before but I felt I must say it
myself too) and goes very well with the rest of the wallpaper. The vector
doesn't look too easy and the gradients look seamless, I wish they would look
that good in my wallpapers
Keep up the good work! And thank you for the widescreen, it's so difficult to
find good widescreen wallpapers!
Pure awesomeness! I've always loved the multiple shade style of vectoring (kind
of resembles vexels) and it looks really good on the character and his clothing
(especially the skin shades). You really "brought the scan to life",
if I may say so
And I'm glad you changed the candy, the original ones were way too colorful
Pastel is better. Very creative design!
+fav from me, keep up the great work!
Somehow I knew this was yours from when I first saw the thumbnail
I like that feeling of altitude, from the way you placed the trees and feathers,
it looks mystical! And the vectoring is good, I like the outlines and the colors
you chose
A fav from me, good luck in the contest! As
for the other version, I can't decide! I like them both!
So lovely, the color combination makes the wall look very fresh and exotic. I
haven't seen many walls to use this color scheme and this style. The vectoring
is lovely and I like how you blurred the girl's lips. Keep up the good work!
I'm still trying to decide which vector I love more but it's really difficult,
both of them are absolutely gorgeous! The shading is impressive and the soft,
pastel colors are a sure win. I don't know what else I can say, the details are
awesome! You have a fav from me, keep it up!
Wow, impressive! This is one of the best vectors I've seen in a while, I just
love the shading on their clothes and the delicacy of the line art
Definitely a +fav from me!
P.S. I understand the long time line, I've been working on a vector for almost a
year and still haven't finished it
I hope you won't be upset at me for saying this, but your work doesn't look like
a vector at all. It looks more like you painted over the scan using a brush and
saved it at a low quality. You should learn how to vector using the Pen Tool,
it's the best method and you'll get the best results. I wrote some tutorials on
vectoring, maybe you'll find them useful: How to
vector (trace) an image ('Stroke Path' method) How
to vector anime eyes (Shape Layers method)
The second one can be used for vectoring the entire body, not only the eyes.
Good luck!
It looks so beautiful! And I'm not saying this just because the guy is gorgeous,
the whole wallpaper is so...ethereal, it's as if it dissolved if I touched it!
The softness is what makes it so appealing to the eye, I suppose, the fact that
you used pastel colors is a big plus. Before reading the description, I wouldn't
have thought this is your first vector of a &w scan, judging from how good
it is.
You've got a favorite from me, please keep up the good work!
I think it's very well done, the atmosphere is what I'd call "classically
creepy" and ti gives me the chills whenever I look at it. Maybe it's also
from the way the blood splatters contrast their innocent expressions? Whichever
it is, your wallpaper sure gives off some sinister vibes (even the version
without the blood is disturbing)!
Good luck in the contest! You
have a favorite from me, please keep up the good work!
Simply love it. Like Kitten said, few artists can achieve such a dark atmosphere
if given only the elements you used. Aside from the idea, the vectoring is
superb and I think the softness is a strong point of this wallpaper. And as for
the background, it's a good thing you kept it simple, it draws attention to the
detailed skull more
And yes, I agree with the curtain bit. I used to do that quite often +fave for sheer awesomeness.
Lol now there's an interesting idea! I haven't watched American Dad in a while
so thanks for the short reminder of the plot
Really original concept, dressing up an American cartoon character as an anime
one! I suppose you already got a few odd stares, judging by the previous posts
but you get a smile from me, your vector certainly brightened up my day!
Good luck in the contest! You've got a fave from me for the weird concept Keep
it up!
I can't believe it, it's "Bloody Kiss"! I never thought I'd see a
gallery item from this series, so nice!
The vectoring's awesome, I can't really find any flaws. Basically everything
fits in its place in this wallpaper! You've got my favorite, keep up the great
work!
And yeah, it's a shame it was ended at 6 chapters
Commented it on AP as well (I'm infinity-explorer there) but I need to do so
here too :3 Pure love, every aspect is perfect and I can't complain about any
mistakes because there are none
Composition is top notch and everything looks very creepy! Keep it up! (+fave
here too )
Absolutely breathtaking wall! I saw this one on your project list so I wasn't
surprised when I saw it in the gallery, but I must say you have my respect for
vectoring this image a second time. Truth be told, I wouldn't have had the
patience to do it and I'm truly sorry I couldn't help you recover the first
version
Everything is beautiful, down to the very last detail. You have my favorite
It looks really good, I like how you used soft orange hues. The vectoring is
also neat and I love how you used thicker outlines on the edge of the elements
and thinner ones inside
You've got a fave from me!
Wow, I never thought I'd see a HotD wallpaper And a
vectored one too! The atmosphere is really sinister here, you captured the exact
feeling of the manga (plus I'm scared of zombies too )
Textures and brushes help create that eerie effect of a post-apocalyptic world
and Saeko looks dangerous! Favorite from me, please keep up the great work and
good luck!
Awesome! I love the thin outlines (the vector is so big!) and the clarity of it
all. Personally, I think it's a good thing you blurred the tree in the
background, it makes focusing on the characters easier.
The scan is so full of text! I can see why it was so difficult to see
You pulled it off beautifully though
You've got my fave. Good luck in the contest and keep up the great work!
Now that's some serious vectoring there
I'm still in awe, even after 30 minutes after seeing this. What can I say,
amazing work! I really don't have words to describe this, the shading is
absolutely perfect, not to mention the details! Good luck in the contest! (I'm
so going to get owned )

Very nice vector, I like the use of different shades of pink, and Meer looks quite seductive! Keep it up!

Great job!

Really smart, ripping a wallpaper and posting it a day after the creator posted it. Smooth
' Shame on you.

Thank you very much for sharing this image, I've been looking for a bigger version for quite some time. Really nice find!
