I picked subbed for a couple of reasons:
- with few exceptions, voice actors who do the dubbing don't have the right
voices and sometimes change a character's personality completely;
- Japanese voice actors really bring characters to life, dub voices usually
sound cartoonish
- it's a good way to learn the language
I like to watch Romanian dubs though, they sound a lot better than American
ones. However, there's nothing like the original language
I'd have to go with D from Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust I
know some might think it's a weird choice but I like the fact that he doesn't
talk much and lets his fighting skills do that for him
Plus he's got a totally badass attitude
Alucard's not a bad choice either, I love his insanity!
As for Kaname, I haven't made up my mind yet. I can't say I like him or hate
him, I'm indifferent.
I don't know, something seems to be missing I
think the color combination is odd, you should pick some other color for the
vector brushes in the corners (I'm guessing they're brushes), like a very pale
grey. The sky would look better as a discrete gradient, instead of a single
color.
And to give depth, you can try alternating the grey in the foreground, work with
different hues and you'll get a better effect.
I don't know about Shana, though, she seems too "real" for this
scenery -what you've got is 2D and she looks almost...3D, if you understand what
I'm saying I suggest vectoring her and using as few shades as possible,
you can add some textures to the wall to make it look better.

I'd pick the dark version, since you said it was night-time scenery. If you pick
night you should also make the shadows darker, maybe even fade the colors a bit.
Where exactly is your light source? If it's behind the girls, the girls should
be dark because no light falls on them. Look at this picture: image, the light
is on the "border" of the person and the rest is quite dark.
Um, when I said "get rid of the font" I meant make it smaller (a LOT
smaller) because wallpapers with huge text in front usually are of low quality.
Unless you want to draw attention to your text (if it's vital for the expression
of your idea), I suggest removing it completely (including the Outer/Inner Glow)
or making it smaller -try 16 or 18.
Last but not least, I'd say get rid of the pink and blue corners, they really
don't fit in and the contrast isn't too easy on the eye
Also, if you want more detail you can add a carpet on the floor, some pictures
on the walls and some fiber textures on their clothes and the bed.

I'd use it in an apocalyptic scenery, it looks just the right pose for it: some
abandoned buildings in the further background (fallen, with parts of walls
missing etc.) - you can find a lot of stocks like that on SXC, red clouds, wind with dust, maybe a sunset.
Lelouch would be reaching up to the sky
Well, that's my opinion. I hope I was of some help to you, good luck, I'd really
like to see how this one turns out to be! (and if you don't like the idea, may I
have the vector so I can make it like this? )
I don't know about the previous version(s), but this one still needs a lot of
work. First would be matching the colors of the outlines with the colors of the
"inner coloring" parts (for example, you used only one color for the
outlines of the girl on the left's clothes - it matches the pajamas but not the
red covers, it would be better if the outlines were some shade of dark red in
that place).
Second, the background doesn't quite resemble that of a bedroom. I suggest
looking for some stock images of beds, bedrooms, curtains etc. on SXC and blend them in with the girls. Think of
what you'd usually find in a bedroom: curtains, toys, a night stand, a bed lol,
a window etc.
Third, I say it would look better if you got rid of the huge blue font. Maybe
make it smaller and of a different color and more transparent - remember, if
it's discrete it'll look better and it'll draw attention to it in a pleasant
way. This way it looks like you were trying to fill up space.

As for the features, some of you might have noticed since April that there's a
'Goodies' section. The staff will take care of this section and update it in
turns. Keep an eye out for the features there! From songs to scans to episodes,
we'll change them periodically. Sorry but you can't request episodes to be
uploaded sooner than they're supposed to.
The slideshow was also taken down because there were times when it didn't work
properly. It was replaced by a few screenshots.
Now, the staff has decided to split tasks (to make running the group easier).
